Four Women in New Administrative Roles in Higher Education

leftwichSara W. Leftwich was promoted to manager of dual career and special projects in the department of human resources at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She was the senior recruiter and staffing coordinator for the Office of University Development at Virginia Tech.

Leftwich is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in communications.

CEP Program Leaders White and LawtonJacquelyn White was named director of the family and consumer sciences division of the Cooperative Extension Program at Prairie View A&M University. She has been with the program since 1999.

White holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. She is completing work on her doctoral degree in educational leadership from the University of Phoenix.

PollyAnderson-286x396Polly Anderson was appointed executive director of WUCF-TV, the public television station affiliated with the University of Central Florida. She held a management position at KNME, a public television station in New Mexico.

Anderson is a graduate of St. Petersburg Junior College and the University of South Florida. She is vice chair of the Association of Public Television Stations and former chair of the National Educational Television Association.

juliana mosleyJuliana Mosley was named vice president for student affairs at Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida. She was vice president for student affairs and enrollment management at Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. She is the former vice president for student affairs at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas, and also served as executive assistant to the president of Kentucky State University.

Dr. Mosley is a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She holds a master’s degree and a doctorate in educational leadership from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
