In Memoriam: Hannah Rose Arterian, 1949-2022
Professor Arterian taught in the College of Law at Arizona State University for 20 years and was the first women to serve as associate dean. In 2002, Professor Arterian was named dean of Syracuse University’s College of Law, a position she held for 13 years.

Dr. Campbell became president of Spelman College in Atlanta on August 1, 2015. She is dean emerita of the Tisch School of the Arts and University Professor of art and public policy at New York University. Early in her career she was the director of the Studio Museum in Harlem and was cultural affairs commissioner for the City of New York. She joined the faculty at New York University in 1991 and served as dean for two decades.

Christa Kelleher Wins Early Career Award From the Geological Society of America
Dr. Kelleher, who holds degrees from Lafayette College and Pennsylvania State University, is the first faculty member from Syracuse Univerity to win the early career award in hydrogeology, which is presented each year to only one scientist in the United States.
