Three Women Who Have Been Appointed Provosts
Claudia E. San Miguel was appointed provost at Texas A&M International University in Laredo. Shantay R. Grays was named provost at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland, and Catherine Swick is the new provost at Trine University in Angola, Indiana.
Daria Willis Will Be the Next President of Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland
Dr. Willis currently serves as president of Everett Community College in Washington. Earlier, Dr. Willis was the provost and senior vice president of academic affairs at Onondaga Community College of the State University of New York and dean of academic studies at Lee College in Baytown, Texas.
The Next President of Minneapolis Community and Technical College
Since 2010, Dr. Sharon Pierce has been vice president for academic affairs at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland. Earlier, she served as chair of the Health Sciences Division and director of the nursing education program at the college.
