Three Women Announce Their Retirements From Positions at State Universities

Terri Spinazza, director of purchasing at Boise State University in Idaho has retired. She had led the purchasing department at the university for the past 17 years.

Spinazza began her career at Boise State in 2002 as a senior buyer after spending 25 years in corporate purchasing at the headquarters of Ore-Ida Food.

Jane S. Bray, dean of the Darden College of Education and Professional Studies at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, will retire at the end of May. She has served as dean for nearly seven years.

Dr. Bray holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in elementary education from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. She earned a doctorate in education from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Mary Minton, an associate professor and associate academic dean for graduate nursing at South Dakota State University, has retired. She had served on the faculty for 13 years.

Dr. Minton is a graduate of Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She earned a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
