Two Women Among the Finalists for Associate Provost Position at the University of Georgia

ugaThe University of Georgia has announced four finalists for the position of associate provost for international education. The four finalists will all come to campus on or before September 1 for interviews and meetings with members of the campus community. Two of the four finalists are women.

kcarusonKiki Caruson is assistant vice president for research, innovation, and global affairs and an associate professor of government and international affairs at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Caruson is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, where she majored in economics and international relations. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Georgia.

jane-gatewoodJane E. Gatewood is associate provost for global engagement at the University of Rochester in New York. She has held this positions since 2014. Previously, she was director of international partnerships for the University of Georgia. Dr. Gatewood is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, where she majored in English. She holds a master’s degree in English language and literature from Montana State University in Bozeman and a Ph.D. in English language and literature from the University of Georgia.
