In Memoriam: Jennifer Fish Kashay, 1966-2016

Jennifer-Fish-KashayJennifer Fish Kashay, an associate professor of history at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, died on January 3 after suffering a heart attack. She was 49 years old.

Dr. Fish Kashay joined the faculty at Colorado State in 2005. Earlier she served on the faculty at California State University, San Bernardino. Her research focused on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century Hawaiian history.

Dr. Fish Kashay was a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino, where she majored in anthropology and museum studies. She held a master’s degree in history from the University of California, Riverside and a Ph.D. in history from the University of Arizona.
