Dawn Bratsch-Prince Is a Finalist for Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University

West Virginia University has announced four candidates for the position of dean of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences. All four candidates will visit the Morgantown campus for two days during the month October for a series of interviews and public forums. One of the four candidates is a woman.

princeDawn Bratsch-Prince is associate provost for faculty and a professor of Spanish at Iowa State University in Ames. She has served as associate dean in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, director of international studies, interim director of the women’s studies program, and chair of the department of world languages and cultures.

Dr. Bratsch-Prince holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Spanish from New York University. She earned a Ph.D. in Romance philology at the University of California, Berkeley.
