Communication Scholars Share Book Award

commBookEva Brumberger, associate professor of technical communication at Arizona State University, and Kathryn Northcut, an associate professor of English and technical communication at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, are sharing a book award. The pair received the 2015 Technical and Scientific Communication Award from the Council on College Composition and Communication for their co-edited book Designing Texts: Teaching Visual Education (Baywood Publishing, 2013).

brumbergerDr. Brumberger is a graduate of Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, where she majored in English. She holds a master’s degree in English education from Syracuse University in New York and a Ph.D. in rhetoric and professional communication from New Mexico State University.

NorthcutDr. Northcut is a graduate of Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado, where she majored in English. She holds a master’s degree from Colorado State University and a Ph.D. in technical communication and rhetoric from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
