West Virginia University Appoints Three Women to High-Level Posts

Cindy Fitch was promoted to associate dean for programming and research for the West Virginia University Extension Service. She has been serving as director of the families and health program of the WVU Extension Service. Dr. Fitch joined the faculty at West Virginia University in 1999.
Dr. Fitch is a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She holds a master’s degree in nutrition from Texas Woman’s University and a Ph.D. in nutrition from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
Rochelle S. Goodwin was appointed senior associate vice president for academic and public strategy. She is the former director of state operations for U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller. Earlier in her career, Goodwin was the pro bono director of Legal Aid of West Virginia.
Goodwin is a graduate of Marietta College in Ohio and the West Virginia University College of Law.
Jennifer O. Williams was named associate dean for partnerships and initiatives for the West Virginia University Extension Service. She has been serving as director of agriculture and natural resource programs.
Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s degree in agricultural science from the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design at West Virginia University.
