Jennifer Snyder to Lead the Physician Assistant Education Association

snyderJennifer A. Snyder was named president-elect of the Physician Assistant Educational Association. She will serve as president-elect for one year before becoming president of the association.

Dr. Snyder is the associate program director and a full professor in the physician assistant program at Butler University in Indianapolis. She joined the faculty at Butler University in 1999.

Dr. Snyder is a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where she majored in microbiology. Five years later, she earned a second bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies at Butler University. She earned a master degree in physician assistant studies at the University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha and a Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University.
