Sandra Stone Named Regional Chancellor at the University of South Florida

Sandra Stone was appointed regional chancellor for the University of South Florida’s Sarasota-Manatee campus. The campus enrolls about 1,700 undergraduate students and 150 graduate students. Women make up nearly 60 percent of the undergraduate student body.

Dr. Stone has been serving as vice president for academic affairs at Dalton State College in Georgia. She will take on her new role on November 1.

Dr. Stone holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in sociology from the University of West Georgia. She earned a Ph.D. in sociology at Emory University in Atlanta.
