A New President for Westmoreland County Community College in Pennsylvania

The board of trustees of Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood, Pennsylvania, has chosen Tuesday Stanley as the college’s seventh president. The college, just east of Pittsburgh, enrolls 6,500 students. Women make up 65 percent of the student body.

Dr. Stanley is currently the vice chancellor at Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City, Missouri. Previously, she was associate vice chancellor of marketing and enrollment management at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas. Dr. Stanley will begin her duties as president of Westmoreland County Community College on July 1.

Dr. Stanley is a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She holds a master’s degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and a doctorate in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
