Mary C. Finger Chosen as the Next President of Seton Hill University

fingerMary C. Finger was named the tenth president of Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. She will take office on July 1. The university, located just east of Pittsburgh, enrolls about 1,900 undergraduates and 400 graduate students. Women make up 63 percent of the undergraduate student body.

For the past nine years, Dr. Finger has been senior vice president for advancement at DePaul University in Chicago. Earlier in her career, she was vice president for planning and institutional advancement at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee.

Dr. Finger is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She holds a master’s degree from Mount Mary University, and a doctorate in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania.
