President of Mid Michigan Community College Is Stepping Down in June

churchillCarol Churchill, president of Mid Michigan Community College, has announced that she will be stepping down from her post on June 30, 2014. President Churchill has led the community college as its fifth president for the past seven years. During her tenure, enrollments at the community college’s three campuses serving central Michigan have increased from 6,000 to 7,000. About 58 percent of the students at the college are women.

Before coming to Mid Michigan Community College in 2007, Churchill was the dean of student success and then vice provost for economic and workforce development at Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan. President Churchill holds a bachelor’s degree in English and social science and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
