Law Professor Tapped to Conduct Major Study on Individual Bankruptcy

margaret_howardMargaret Howard, the Law Alumni Association Professor of Law at Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, has been selected to lead a major empirical study for the American Bankruptcy Institute. The project will conduct research on individuals who file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Professor Howard is a graduate of Duke University and the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. She also holds a master’s degree in law from Yale Law School. Before, joining the faculty at Washington and Lee, Professor Howard was a member of the faculty at the Vanderbilt University School of Law in Nashville for 20 years.
