New Center for Women’s Health Opens at Duke University

Duke University has established the Global Women’s Health Technologies Center with the mission to increase research, training, and education in women’s health issues with a focus on breast cancer, cervical cancer, and maternal-fetal health. The new center will also seek to increase the number of women in STEM fields both in the United States and across the globe.

Dr. Ramanujam has been on the faculty at Duke since 2005. She previously taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Professor Ramanujam earned a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.
