Mississippi State Scholar Wins Electrical Engineering Award

schulz-NoelNoel N. Schulz, an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at Mississippi State University, received the C. Holmes MacDonald Outstanding Young Electrical Engineering Teacher Award from Eta Kappa Nu, the international honor society for electrical engineers. Dr. Schulz is the first person from Mississippi to ever win the award.

Dr. Schulz earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Virginia Tech. She holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota. Before joining the faculty at Mississippi State, Dr. Schulz taught for six years at Michigan State University.
