Texas Woman’s University Promotes Three Women to Full Professor

twuTexas Woman’s University in Denton has announced the promotion of three women faculty members to the rank of full professor.

Patricia Bowyer was named full professor of occupational therapy at the Houston campus of the university. She is a graduate of Milligan College in Tennessee. She holds a master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and an educational doctorate from Eastern Tennessee State University.

Donna Scott Tilley was appointed full professor of nursing and granted tenure. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and holds a doctorate in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Gayle Roux was promoted to full professor of nursing. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from Texas Woman’s University.
