Harvard Business School Expects to Enroll a Record Percentage of Women

hbs-logoHarvard Business School reports that it expects to enroll a record percentage of women among its incoming class of MBA students. The business school expects women to make up 41 percent of new MBA students enrolling this fall. This is up 1 percentage point from last year and 6 percentage points from a decade ago.

Recently, Harvard celebrated the 50th anniversary of co-education. Prominent women alumnae include Meg Whitman, CEO of Hewlett-Packard, Abigail Johnson, president of Fidelity Investments, and Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook.
