Christine Riordan Named Provost at the University of Kentucky

RiordanChristineChristine Riordan has been selected as the next provost at the University of Kentucky. She will begin her new job at the start of the fall semester and will earn a salary of $420,000.

Currently Dr. Riordan is dean of the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. She is also a professor of management at the business school. Before coming to the University of Denver in 2008, Dr. Riordan was associate dean for external relations at the business school of Texas Christian University. Earlier, she taught for 10 years at the University of Georgia.

Dr. Riordan is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she majored in textile engineering. She holds an MBA and a Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Georgia State University.
