One Woman Among the Four Finalists for Vice President for Research at North Dakota State University

North Dakota State University has announced a field of four finalists for the post of vice president for research and creative activities. All four candidates are visiting the NDSU campus by the end of this month for interviews and public forums. One of the four finalists is a woman.

rusch_kellyKelly A. Rusch is the Dow Chemical Distinguished Professor in Engineering Diversity at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She joined the faculty at LSU in 1992 and has served as interim chair of the department of construction management and industrial engineering. She is a founding member of the Women in Engineering Leadership Institute and past president of the Aquacultural Engineering Society.

Professor Rusch is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Louisiana State University.
