University of Rhode Island Professor Named Editor of Prestigious Psychology Journal

HarlowLisa L. Harlow, professor of psychology at the University of Rhode Island, was appointed editor of the journal Psychological Methods. The prestigious journal publishes articles on collecting, analyzing, understanding, and interpreting psychological data.

Professor Harlow has been associate editor of the journal and also the Structural Equation Modeling Journal. She has also served as founding editor of the Multivariate Application Book Series which has published 20 books.

Dr. Harlow has been on the faculty at the University of Rhode Island since 1985. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from California State University at Fullerton and earned a Ph.D. in psychology at the University of California at Los Angeles.
