Constance Flanagan Receives the 2012 Tisch Research Prize from Tufts University

Constance Flanagan, a professor in the School of Human Ecology at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, received the 2012 Tisch Research Prize from the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service at Tufts University in Massachusetts. Professor Flanagan was honored for work to foster an understanding of civic engagement. The prize comes with a $5,000 cash award.

Professor Flanagan has been on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin since 2010. Previously, she served on the faculty at Pennsylvania State University. She holds a Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of Michigan. This fall Harvard University Press plans to publish Professor Flanagan’s book, Teenage Citizens: The Political Theories of the Young.
