According to a lawsuit, Melissa Soboleski, the women’s volleyball coach at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, earned $64,344 in 2016 while male coaches in similarly categorized sports earned as much as $120,872.
Gannon University Professor Wins the 2017 John Ciardi Prize for Poetry
The John Ciardi Prize for Poetry is awarded by BkMk Press at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. The press was founded in 1971 and in 1983 became affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences at the university. Professor Moore was honored for her manuscript Sweet Herbaceous Miracle, which will now be published by BkMk Press.
