At the University of Alabama, 21 Black Women Accept Bids to Join Sororities
One year after a major uproar when it was revealed that no African American women were offered bids to join sororities at the University of Alabama, the university reports that all 21 Black women who registered for sorority recruitment this year received and accepted a bid.

University of Tennessee Breaks Ground on Sorority Village
This past weekend the University of Tennessee broke ground on its new Sorority Village on Morgan Hill. The first group of women are expected to move into Sorority Village in the fall of 2012.
