Anne H. Moore, associate vice president for learning technologies at Virginia Tech, was awarded emerita status. She has been on the staff at the university since 1995.
Dr. Moore holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, all from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Eleanor Schlenker was named professor emerita of human nutrition, foods, and exercise. She joined the Virginia Tech faculty in 1988. Dr. Schlenker textbook Nutrition in Aging is now in its third edition and has been translated into Spanish for the South American market. She is also the co-editor of Williams Essentials of Nutrition and Diet Therapy, now in its tenth edition.
Dr. Schlenker is a graduate of Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania. She earned a master’s degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, and a doctorate at Michigan State University.
Dr. Fallon comes to her new role from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York, where she has served as dean of the School of Arts and Sciences since 2018. Previously, she was provost at Marylhurst University in Oregon.
Known for her expertise in designing and implementing randomized clinical trials, Dr. Mehran, an endowed professor and research director at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, focuses her work on personalized medicine and developing individual risk scores for bleeding and acute kidney injury.
Dr. Sabin is slated to become the next president of Minnesota North College on July 1. She currently serves as the college's academic dean for career and technical education and director of the Eveleth campus.
