Syracuse University Women’s Choir Celebrates Its 125th Anniversary

The Syracuse Women’s Choir is celebrating its 125th anniversary with a special concert honoring its legacy by performing works that it has featured over the past century and a quarter. The choir is under the direction of Barbara M Tagg, an instructor of music at the university’s Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Dr. Tagg is the author of the recently released book, Before the Singing: Structuring Children’s Choirs for Success (Cambridge University Press, 2013).

Dr. Tagg holds bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees, all from Syracuse University.
