Dean of the College of Education at the University of South Florida to Step Down

Colleen S. Kennedy, dean of the College of Education at the University of South Florida in Tampa, has announced that she will step down from her leadership post in June. Dean Kennedy stated that she will take a year of developmental leave and then return to the College of Education as a full professor of instructional technology in the department of secondary education.

Dr. Kennedy has served as dean for the past nine years. Previously, she was dean of the Graduate School of Education at the University of Utah. Dean Kennedy holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, all from the University of Washington.
