The New President of Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn
A native of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Claudia V. Schrader was appointed president of Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Schrader has been serving as provost and senior vice president for academic and student success at Bronx Community College.
Darcy Medica to Lead the Schuykill Campus of Pennsylvania State University
Dr. Medica will serve as interim preident of the 800-student campus beginning on August 1. She joined the faculty at Penn State-Schuylkill in 2003 and has been serving as director of academic affairs and associate professor of biology.
Shaw University President Steps Down to Take Post as Chief Operating Officer at Howard University
Tashni-Ann Dubroy has reigned her position as the 17th president of historically Black Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, after only two years in office. She will become executive vice president and chief operating officer at Howard University in Washington, D.C.
