In Memoriam: Wanda Ruth Hammack Alexander, 1938-2021

Ruth Alexander was an instrumental figure in the establishment of women’s sports at the University of Florida. Under her leadership, the University of Florida was the first institution in the Southeastern Conference to field women’s intercollegiate athletics.
