Terri Goss Kinzy, president of Illinois State University, has resigned from her post after less than two years on the job. No explanation was given for the resignation.

Earlier, she served as vice president of research and professor in the department of biochemistry and molecular biology at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She will begin her new job on July 1.

Kathy Guthrie, an associate professor in the College of Education at Florida State University, was selected as the recipient of the 2021 Robert H. Shaffer Award for Academic Excellence as a Graduate Faculty Member by NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. The award is the highest honor that NASPA gives to a graduate faculty member.
