From 2012 to 2017, Dr. Mauch was dean of the College of Education at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She also served as a professor of mathematics at the university.

After leaving Bloomsburg University, Dr. Mauch served as a Fulbright Scholar at the Lodz University of Technology in Poland.
