Snow College in Ephraim, Utah, Names Stacee McIff as Its New President

Stacee Y. McIff is the eighteenth president of Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. McIff has served as interim president since July 2022.

Snow College, which operates two campuses, enrolls just over 6,100 students, according to the most recent data from the U.S. Department of Education. Women make up 54 percent of the student body.

“I am very honored to have been selected as Snow College’s president. Born and raised in rural Utah, I am proud to lead Utah’s rural community college. Student success is our number one priority,” McIff said. “Thanks to incredible faculty and staff, students who attend Snow College have a personalized transformational experience that is unique in our higher education system. As the degree-granting institution and technical college for central Utah, Snow College is well-positioned to meet workforce needs and support a wide variety of students.”

Before she was appointed as interim president, Mclff led served as vice president of technical education and workforce engagement for two years after serving for a time as associate provost and as business department chair for eight years. She has held a faculty role at the college since 2006.

McIff holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University and a master’s degree from Utah State University.
