Margaret Annunziata Will Be the Next President of Isothermal Community College in North Carolina

Margaret Annunziata has been named the sixth president of Isothermal Community College in Spindale, North Carolina. She will take office on February 1.

Isothermal Community College, located West of Charlotte, enrolls nearly 2,100 students according to the latest data supplied to the U.S. Department of Education. Women make up 60 percent of the undergraduate student body.

Dr. Annunziata is currently vice president for academic affairs at Davidson County Community College in Thomasville, North Carolina. She previously served as director of student success and institutional assessment at Davidson County Community College.

Dr. Annunziata is a graduate of Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, where she double majored in economics and psychology. She earned a master’s degree in family and child development at Auburn University in Alabama and a doctorate in community college executive leadership from Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina.
