Three Women Scholars Earn Promotions at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio

Ursuline College, the educational institution for women in Pepper Pike, Ohio, has announced the promotions of three women faculty members.

Regina Prosser was promoted to associate professor of nursing and granted tenure. Dr. Prosser has an extensive history in the specialty of geriatrics. She joined the faculty at Ursuline College in 2014. Dr. Prossoer holds a master’s degree in nursing administration and a doctor of nursing practice degree from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Sarah Preston was promoted to professor of chemistry at the college. She also serves as chair of the chemistry department. Her research is focused on technology in education and ligand synthesis for asymmetric catalysis. A graduate of Ohio University, where she majored in chemistry. Dr. Preston holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Ohio State University.

Jennifer Schwartz Mrazek was promoted to assistant professor of art therapy. She is chair of the Undergraduate Education Committee of the American Art Therapy Association and has taught courses in the undergraduate and graduate art therapy programs at Ursuline College for over 10 years. Schwartz Mrazek is a summa cum laude graduate of Ursuline College, where she double majored in psychology and studio art. She holds a master’s degree in art therapy from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.
