The Business School at the University of South Dakota Adds Three Women to Its Faculty

The Beacom School of Business at the University of South Dakota announces the addition of four new faculty members for the fall 2019 semester. Three of the new hires are women.

Meiying Hua is an assistant professor of accounting and finance. She earned a master’s degree in accounting from Pace University in New York. Dr. Hua holds a Ph.D. in business administration from Kent State University in Ohio. Her primary teaching interests are in nancial accounting and managerial accounting.

Tammy Loos is an instructor of human resource management. She is an alumna of the University of South Dakota, where she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and her master’s degree in administrative studies. Loos has served as human resource director for many companies, including Capital Expansion Group, Dakotabilities, and Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota.

Elizabeth Manser Payne is an assistant professor of marketing. Elizabeth received an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management of Arizona State University and her Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Dr. Payne has industry experience and over 14 years of collegiate-level teaching experience at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
