New Administrative Duties for 10 Women at Colleges and Universities

DeeDee Dayhoff has been named assistant dean for student services and concerns at Indiana University. She previously worked in the university’s counseling and psychological services.

Dayhoff holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work from Indiana University.

Tory Gaddy has been named director of development and external relations for the University of Arkansas School of Law. She previously served as the school’s associate director.

Gaddy holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas.

Natalie Hart has been named assistant vice president of advancement at Virginia Tech. She was the principal gifts officer in the university’s advancement division.

Hart holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in public and international affairs, both from Virginia Tech.

Dejah Carter has been named assistant director of the Women’s Community Center at Stanford University. She was a Greer Fellow at the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women’s Center at the University of Virginia.

Carter holds a bachelor’s degree in history and African American studies and a master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from the University of Virginia.

Laura McFall Bond has been named the inaugural director of alumni affairs for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She was director of special events and hospitality for the ECU Pirate Club.

Bond holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee-Martin and a master’s degree in leadership and policy studies from the University of Memphis.

Jeanell N. Hughes has been named chief talent officer/chief human resources officer at Cleveland State University. She was vice president of talent management and chief diversity officer for Aramark.

Hughes holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University in Ohio and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Shannon Haviland has been named director of athletic compliance at Fordham University in New York. She was NCAA compliance and student services coordinator at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

Haviland holds a bachelor’s degree in sports and recreation management and a master’s degree in higher education both from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Heather Reynolds has been named the inaugural managing director of the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. She has served as president and CEO at Catholic Charities Fort Worth for the past 14 years.

Reynolds holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and an executive MBA from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Carol Kirchner has been named associate vice president for business and finance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She currently serves as associate vice chancellor for business and finance at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Kirchner holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Jessica Huntley has been named commissioner of the new collegiate Atlantic East Conference. She was the associate executive director of the Centennial Conference.

Huntley holds a bachelor’s degree in sport management from York College in Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in higher education administration from Boston College.
