Four Women Appointed to Faculty Positions at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine

Adanna Jones has been named an assistant professor of dance. She was a postdoctoral fellow for faculty diversity in the dance department at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Dr. Jones holds a bachelor’s degree in dance from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in dance from the University of California, Riverside.

Shenila Khoja-Moolji has been named an assistant professor of gender, sexuality, and women’s studies. She was a postdoctoral fellow and visiting scholar in the Alice Paul Center for Research on Gender, Sexuality, and Women at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kohja-Moolji holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and business economics from Brown University, a master’s degree in Islamic studies and gender from Harvard University, and a doctoral degree in education from Columbia University.

Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich has been named an assistant professor of English. She was an instructor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Professor Marzano-Lesnevich holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, a master’s degree in creative writing from Emerson College in Boston, and a juris doctorate from Harvard Law School.

Mary Rogalski has been named an assistant professor of biology and environmental studies. She was a postdoctoral research scientist at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Rogalski holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and environmental science from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and a master’s degree and Ph.D. both in forestry and environmental studies from Yale University.
