Three Women Promoted to Full Professor at the University of Wyoming

The University of Wyoming in Laramie has announced that 13 faculty members have been promoted to full professor. Three of these promotions to full professor went to women.

Brenda Alexander was promoted to full professor of animal science in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. She is an expert in livestock reproduction. Professor Alexander holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a Ph.D. in reproductive biology, all from the University of Wyoming.

Ye Zhang was appointed professor of geology and geophysics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the university. She is a graduate of Nanjing University in China. Dr. Zhang holds a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota and a Ph.D. in hydrogeology from Indiana University.

Doris Bolliger was promoted to full professor in the School of Counseling, Leadership, Advocacy, and Design in the College of Education. She is a graduate of Park University in Parkville, Missouri. Dr. Bolliger holds a master’s degree from Bowie State University in Maryland, and an educational doctorate from the University of West Florida in Pensacola.
