Mills College Signs Partnership Agreement With the University of California, Berkeley

Mills College, the liberal arts educational institution for women in Oakland, California, has entered into a partnership agreement with the University of California, Berkeley.

The partnership allows Berkeley students to live in Mills dorms in central Oakland, about nine miles from the Berkeley campus. Berkeley students may take an introductory biology course sequence at Mills. The advantage is that Berkley students can take biology in small sections of 30 to 40 — compared to sections of up to 500 at Berkeley. Under the agreement Berkeley students also can gain access to accelerated pathways to master’s degrees from Mills.

The partnership also grants Mills students access to Berkeley’s Summer Abroad and Global Internship programs.
