A Pair of Women in New Positions as Deans

Anne Dichele was appointed interim dean of the School of Education at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Since 2013, She has been the director of the master of arts in teaching program at the university. Dr. Dichele has been a member of the faculty at Quinnipiac since 1999.

Dr. Dichele is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston. She holds a master’s degree in education from Harvard University and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of Connecticut.

cecilia-boteroCecilia Botero is the new dean of the J.D. Williams Library at the University of Mississippi. Previously, she was associate dean for discovery and access in the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida. She also was the director of the Health Science Center Libraries at the university.

A native of Colombia, Botero is a graduate of the University of Miami in Florida. She holds a master of library and information science degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
