Joyce Loveday to Lead Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Washington

Joyce Loveday, the new president of Clover Park Technical CollegeJoyce Loveday was appointed interim president of Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Washington. The college enrolls about 3,700 students. Women make up 64 percent of the student body.

Dr. Loveday has been on the staff at the college since 2002. Most recently, she served as vice president for student learning. Before coming to Clover Park Technical College, Dr. Loveday was a dean at ITT Technical Institute. In accepting the position, Dr. Loveday said “it’s been my professional goal to step into a position such as this, and I’m absolutely thrilled it’s at the college I love. I think there is no institution in the state of Washington – or anywhere, for that matter – better than Clover Park Technical College.”

Dr. Loveday is a graduate of Wheaton College. She earned an MBA from Idaho State University and a Ph.D. in community college leadership from Oregon State University.
