In Memoriam: Elaine Davis, 1956-2015

ElaineDavisElaine Davis, a longtime professor of management at the Herberger School of Business at St Cloud State University, died on July 31. She was 59 years old and suffered from pancreatic cancer.

Dr. Davis grew up on a dairy farm in Lake Park, Minnesota. She was one of eleven children in her family. She was the author of Use It Up, Wear It Out, Make It Do: 80 Years of an American Farm Family (2005) and Minnesota 13: Stearns County’s ‘Wet” Wild Prohibition Days (2007). She taught at St. Cloud State University for nearly three decades.

Dr. Davis earned a bachelor degree in business and an MBA from St. Cloud State University. She received a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
