In Memoriam: Glenda Taylor, 1955-2015

tayor-glendaGlenda Taylor, chair of the department of art at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, was killed in Walnut, Kansas, on June 7 when she was hit by a truck while bicycling in the Kansas State Time Trial Championship. She was 60 years old.

Professor Taylor joined the faculty at the university in 1987 and taught courses in ceramics, sculpture, and art education.

Taylor was a graduate of Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. She held a master’s degree from Emporia State University in Kansas and a master of fine arts degree from Kansas State University.
