Brenau University to Open a New Campus in Jacksonville, Florida

BU_2C_verticalThe Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools has approved the opening of a branch campus of Brenau University in Jacksonville, Florida. The main campus of the university is in Gainesville, Georgia, about 50 miles northeast of Atlanta. There are 1,700 students in the university’s undergraduate programs and about 1,100 students in graduate degree programs. The residential undergraduate college is open only to women.

The university plans to operate in leased space on the top floor of a former Bank of American building on the south side of the city of Jacksonville. The university will begin by offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and two-year associate degrees.
