In Memoriam: Felicia Janette Jones-Haskins, 1962-2015

jones-haskinsFelicia Jones-Haskins, an assistant professor and chair of the Allied Health Program at Wilmington University in Delaware, died in her sleep on February 20. She recently turned 53 years old and had suffered for many years with heart disease.

Jones-Haskins was a native of Philadelphia. She graduated from Hampton University in Virginia and earned a master’s degree at Widener University. She recently defended her doctoral dissertation at Widener.

In addition to her long career in nursing, specializing in pediatric intensive care, Jones-Haskins taught at Harcum College, Thomas Jefferson University, Community College of Philadelphia, and Immaculata University.
