Penn State Professor Named Physician General of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Levine,RachelRachel Levine, a professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of Pennsylvania State University, has been appointed physician general for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by new Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolfe.

Dr. Levine is also chief of the Division of Adolescent Medicine and Eating Disorders at the medical center. She has been on the Penn State faculty since 1996.

Dr. Levine is a graduate of Harvard University. She earned her medical degree at Tulane University in New Orleans and completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
