Colleen Perry Keith to Lead Pfeiffer University in North Carolina

CperryColleen Perry Keith has been appointed the tenth president of Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, North Carolina. According to the latest Department of Education data, the university enrolls about 1,800 students, almost equally divided between undergraduate and graduate students. Women make up 60 percent of the undergraduate student body.

Since 2009, Dr. Keith has served as president of Spartanburg Methodist College in South Carolina. She will become president at Pfeiffer University on July 1.

Dr. Keith is a graduate of Binghamton University of the State University of New York System, where she majored in political science. She holds a master’s degree in educational counseling from the University of Pittsburgh and a doctorate in higher education administration and student affairs from Ohio State University.
