muffet_mcgrawThe University of Notre Dame is known for its academic reputation and prowess in collegiate football, but the first endowed coaching position at the university has been established to honor the women’s basketball program. Karen Robinson, who played basketball at Notre Dame from 1987 to 1991, and her husband Kevin Keyes have made a $5 million contribution to honor Muffet McGraw, who has led the women’s basketball program at the university for the past 28 years.

“Muffet is one of the most important influences in our lives,” Karen Keyes said. “We are proud to honor her, recognize her dedication to the university and continue to admire all of the successful women she has coached and developed over her entire career.”
