Tuck Bridge Program for Business Expands to the Campus of Smith College

SmithlogoSmith College, the highly rated liberal arts educational institution for women in Northampton, Massachusetts, has announced the establishment of the Smith-Tuck Bridge Program. The program, conducted with the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, will be a three-week course of study with the goal of increasing the number of women who pursue careers in business. The timing of the program will allow students to complete the course and then participate in summer internships at corporations and other business entities.

The Tuck Bridge Program was established on the Dartmouth campus in 1997 and more than 4,000 undergraduates have completed the course. This is the first time that Tuck faculty will take the course to a satellite campus.

The Smith-Tuck Bridge Program will offer courses in accounting, managerial economics, marketing, finance, and leadership. The program will also include instruction in career and networking skills. Up to 30 students will be accepted into the program in a competitive admissions process. While the program was designed for Smith College students, women from other colleges may apply.
